51 DELTA INTELLIGENCE · FOR CFOs, RISK AND AUDIT LEADERS

Know your Delta.

Climate risk is a capital-allocation question. 51 Delta Intelligence answers it.

Climate exposure is already reaching insurance premiums, energy costs, supply chains and the cost of capital. 51 Delta shows which assets and actions protect value, which create it, and ranks your investment plan by your financial priorities.

Built on ISSB (IFRS S2). Ready for UK SRS and CSRD.

100% audit pass rate
9/10 client satisfaction
Trusted by FTSE, Nasdaq, XETRA and IBEX-listed organisations
WHY DELTA

Everyone feels climate risk. Almost no one has priced it.

Capgemini surveyed 701 companies with revenue over $1bn:

87%
hit climate-related supply chain disruption[1]
77%
saw climate change affect revenue[1]
15%
have fully quantified the financial impact[1]

Risk you haven’t priced can’t go into a forecast, a capital plan or a lender conversation. Delta prices it.

And the clock is running: UK SRS becomes mandatory for certain listed companies from January 2027[2].

IN PRACTICE

When a heatwave and a flood hit the same weak point.

An example based on a real incident.

The risk

A 200-room city-centre hotel sits in an urban heat island, with its own substation, standby generator and changeover switch in a basement plant room. Heat and flood exposure each look moderate on their own, but both fall on the same thing: the hotel’s power supply.

The impact

During a heatwave the cooling plant runs at full load for days, and the hotel’s substation, working hard in a hot basement, overheats and trips. The thunderstorm that breaks the heat then floods the same plant room, so the standby generator can’t take over. With no power or cooling, the hotel evacuates its guests and closes for nine days.

The cost
Lost room and food and beverage revenue, 9 days£360,000
Guest relocation, refunds and compensation£70,000
Substation transformer, standby generator and changeover switch replaced£450,000
Spoiled food and drink stock£25,000
Cost of one event£905,000

Before any rise in insurance premium at renewal.

The strategy
Move the standby generator and changeover switch above flood level£180,000
Flood barriers and pumped sump for the basement£60,000
Cut peak cooling load: shading, reflective roof, chiller controls£120,000
Total£360,000

Less than 40% of the cost of a single event. The cooling measures also cut the peak load on the substation, and energy costs and carbon every year.

51 Delta assesses every site for heat and flood exposure and checks where critical plant sits, so a shared weak point like this one is found and priced before the event.

HOW IT WORKS

Four lenses. One ranked plan.

Delta brings physical, transition, supply chain and investment data into a single model, so climate spend competes fairly with every other demand on capital.

◆

Physical risk

Flood, heat, coastal and drought exposure for every asset, turned into an annual value at risk you can compare to an insurance premium.

◆

Transition and compliance

Carbon pricing, efficiency regulation and ISSB, UK SRS and CSRD liabilities, calculated asset by asset, with upcoming rules flagged early.

◆

Supply chain

Key suppliers scored for disruption risk and financial exposure, so you can diversify or build resilience before a disruption decides for you.

◆

Decarbonisation investment

Every action costed by capex, savings, payback and ROI, then ranked across the whole portfolio.

You set the priorities. Your finance team weights cost, carbon and risk. Delta ranks every action to match.
